Brain Drain - Due to Reservation and Crap Politics

From past few months I was hearing from many of my married friends that they are planning to settle down in US. I was surprised after hearing this because India is developing at such a good rate and even salary packages here are as comparable to other countries like US.
But the reason they have given me is very much convincing. They feel that future of there children are not good in India because of this reservation thing. Economy is no doubt growing at a very fast rate but inflation and cost of living is also increasing at double the rate of growth of country. Admissions in good schools in metropolitan cities are very tough and you have to pay a huge sum of money to get admission. And after clearing schools, it’s really touch to get admission in good college because more that 50% of seats are reserved. And even after clearing graduation this reservation continues to jobs also and who knows this reservation thing will be applied in private sector also some years down the line.
The news we read in newspapers, magazines and hear discussions on news channels that reverse brain drain are very much happening in India these days is all crap. And people who got settled in US and other countries few years back are now returning back to India and rethinking on there decision.

If we take an example of a family who is earning 30-40% more than what he was earning 1-2 year back. Rent he was paying before was around 6000 but now it’s around 9000. Commodity prices are almost doubles now i.e. prices of dal and Masala etc. Vegetable and fruits prices are increased by 30-40%, petrol prices have also increased. EMI’s of various loans have increased which have affected almost all middle class families. Govt. has dug a big hole and attracts middle class families to jump into it and now as many middle class families are inside that so govt. has start throwing dust on them. Numbers of other taxes are also introduced like road tolls on various roads, VAT, property tax etc.
So, final money which comes into pocket at the end of month is actually decreased irrespective of drastic increase in salaries.

Crime rate is increasing in almost all cities. Politicians are still filling there pockets on the name development. Living cost is increasing. Govt. is still playing vote bank politics and attracts lower class by reservation etc. But my request to govt. is to please pay some attention on these actual cases where people of country start thinking that this country is not so good as it looks and start moving to other countries for there and there children development. So, please stop giving good figures of economic growth and other developments but look into this matter seriously otherwise in future only MNC and foreign people will stay in India and actual citizens will reside in some other country and nobody will actual reap the benefits of this development

Criminals in Indian Politics

Everybody must be aware of various politicians who have criminal background and they are now running our country without any hassle. No need to tell how these criminal background politicians must had won their respective elections. But have you ever think of the situation when we all are under criminals and criminals rule this country. Now a days most wanted criminals are turning into more powerful politicians in this country.
Some of the criminals whose names I can recall are pholandevi, she is one of the biggest decoyt in chambal in Madhya Pradesh. But then they fought the election and won with huge margin. Do you think these kind of people must be allowed to contest the elections? In my view such kind of things must be banned and we have to put some strict criteria for contesting the elections i.e. person should not have any criminal record. And also that person should have some education background. This is not so easy to implement because if a person is under some charge sheet in any case in court then do court should restricts him for not electing the election. This is a little subjective thing because if a person is not convicted for any case then how court can stop him and as everybody knows it takes decades for court to finally convict the criminal, then this is kind of loop hole in this.
But do you think people like Sheboo Soren , Phoolan Devi , Babloo Shrivastav, Arun Gawli and now most wanted gagster Abu Salem should be allowed to contest the elections for most respectable position in this country.
In my view govt. and people of India will have to think hard on this to find the appropriate solution. Because just blaming the govt. is also not right as many of us are also supporting these kinds of leaders by giving our precious vote to them. Many of us will give vote to contestant whom they can contact easily without bothering about other people and his country. Statements which you will listen from those kind of people are “Apna kaam nikalna chahiye bas” and “Uska kutch bhi hoo humko kya farak padta hai”.
But this is kind of irresponsibility which we show towards our country.
So my request to govt. is to make some strict rules to keep these criminals away from politics otherwise they will wash out whole country in blackout.
And request to people is not to encourage these people in one or the other way.

Mandal commission

This week must be depressing for many students who are studing hard and must be putting their all time in books just to get admission in top most institutes in India like IIT’s and IIM’s, after listening the views of govt. of increasing the Quota for lower caste peoples. I myself was also really depressed after hearing all this news. I simply cannot able to make out that why these politicians always ready to play with carrier of lacks of students just to increase their vote bank. And why they run away from the actual problem and actual feasible solution they can provide for the problem. This reservation was very hardly pushed by late B.R. Ambedkar to provide attract students from lower caste and then finally implemented by mandal commission in 1990 by Hon. Ex. Prime minister V.P Singh.

But I still question him firstly that why this quota system is on caste based and not on the economic status of the family of the student. Govt. is running away from doing this work and recognise the actual needy person for this quota. But I think this can be easily done just by channelising the system, and we can get the list of economic status by the help of municipal party, panchayats, IT department and other special formed commetes also can do this. They can list down the people who can actually can’t afford to study and need such kind of facility and then govt. can take step for them to provide them way and facilities for education.

My next question is Do we really want any kind of quota for any kind of people? I think by putting quota we are telling them not to work much hard. Govt. must provide poor student free education instead of quota. Govt. can setup public libraries where student can actually study and prepare himself to face any kind of tuff competition. Right now govt. is providing free education at lower level and providing them free meal also to attract more and more children. If govt. is so confident about the facilities and education

Provided to these students in school then why they need any kind of quota in any exam after there school. They must be competent to crack any exam. But govt. knows that education provided by them is not good and not sufficient, so just to hide this fact they are providing quota at higher level.

My next question is that if we are providing quota in education to make sure that everybody gets equal education then why do they need any kind of reservation in jobs?

If two peoples are passes out from same college and had done same education then why one have any reserved seat in govt. jobs.

Next thing comes in my mind is that govt. is already providing basic education at school and college level then if even after student is not capable of getting job or getting admission in post graduation then they themselves are responsible for this and not govt. They themselves had not studied hard during there schooling and graduation. So I think Quota in post graduate course must be fully removed and admissions must be fair and equal for everybody.

Now I am taking the case of particular IIM’s. Let we provide the quota in these management institutes and students take admission in them. If they can pay the fee for these institutes then why can’t they afford their study at any level? And why they need any excuse for poor background family.

We can think of a faculity who will be teaching the students of a class which contains 50% students having education level and mental level of 2 and other having education level of 4-5. So to provide them education equally they cannot take the student of level 5 to 10 just only because level 2 cannot directly be taken to level 10.

So faculty also can balance and take whole class maximum just to level 7-7.5. And finally 50% of class suffers, as they are expecting them to reach at a level of 9-10 but they will be at level of just 7-7.5. And this results in dropping the level and quality of education of these top most institutes who had already spend decades of there efforts to reach that level and had got recognized in all over world.

So in my believe govt. is not doing fair with any body. Neither with general category students nor with poor students (reserve category). They are actually closing the way for them to develop their mind and to compete with other guys. And for other students they are lowering the education level.

Magazines Lost Their Originality

Last Saturday I was looking for a magazine in crossword JM road, Pune. I was looking for something that is not related to muddy politics or some murder/rape related stories which I generally read in newspaper daily. But after browsing through almost all the racks of magazine I didn’t find even one magazine which has its own originality of having something new.
It seems like all the magazines are now just abstracting the news from the whole week’s newspaper and are putting it together in their magazines.

Do they don’t have any new articles or any news other then these all spicy news from newspapers. I think all of them have loose there originality and are just reprocessing the news to put it in their content. Magazines are much more then just getting all the headlines and related stories of week. They should publish some useful articles like health related, self management related, and other useful news which we generally won’t see in daily newspapers.

So I just want to convey this message to all magazine editors that please publish a balance of news in an issue not just abstraction from newspapers and TV channels. It must contain news from all kind of people and some worth reading articles.
